DREAM's VERSATILITY | NCT DREAM - We Go Up Album Review

I took a while to do this but I'm finally on it! I'm going to keep every explanation short and sweet with 280 characters or less. Let's get it!

We Go Up

 It's a song that showed a cool side of Dream and has a fusion of three different kinds of beats and sounds through the song and after reading the lyrics, they really fit the song's tone. It's kinda like Dream's own "Limitless" in that sense. Probably my most favorite song.

1, 2, 3

This song has my whole heart! It's my favorite besides "We Go Up" since it has that 90s sound and even though I'm an 00s baby, I love 90s music and it was really nice to hear with Dream rather than the others since it gave Dream another chance to show their versatility. 

Beautiful Time

I feel that this song is just hella underrated and was a cute little boy that actually gave me a little "La La Love" vibes but with this new Dream style we have right now.

Drippin'

Despite being the most hyped b-side, it happened to be a track that I have mixed feelings about. I don't really feel it much once it gets to the chorus but it was interesting having Dream do a more "mature" song.

Dear DREAM

This song is the song that takes the cake since it has such an emotional feel with emotional lyrics. The laid-back alternative instrumental especially hooked because it gives a feeling of nostalgia and it's rare to hear a song from NCT that has just one main beat and genre. A unique song indeed...

We Go Up ( Chinese Ver.)

I have the same opinion as the Korean version but one thing in particular I love about this version is the breakdown since it sounds much more smooth in Chinese to my ears.


I know I went over the limit for Dear DREAM but I had to say a bit more for my favorite b-side in this album. 😂😂😂 Here's my ranking for each song!
