A NEW FEEL | NCT 127 - Regular-Irregular Highlight Medley #Regular + #Irregular Ver. Commentary

Since the highlight medleys are just so freaking amazing, I just had to write a post even though I tend to not write posts on teasers or teaser-like things since there's not much to comment on but I need to talk about these. 🤣😂😅

I might rant just a little ('cause it's me) but I'll be short about it.

Same as my other reviews/commentaries, I'll (try to) keep it short and sweet and under 280 characters. Leskeetit!

 City 127

This already sounds so chill and cute. For me, it's almost like a part two to "Angel". Vocals are sounding on point in this and the bass was 👌.

Regular (KR Ver.)

The song already sound like an ENTIRE bop! I'm doing every single dance ever to this and it's just the highlight. 🤣

I heard people saying that it sound like "Cardi's song" and I just shook my head. It does not sound like her song just because it's the same genre and her whole song is literally just a sample. 🙄🙄🙄

Replay (PM 01.27)

This song sound nice so far! They are also continuing on with the time thing in the title like with "Back 2 U (AM 01:27)"

Knock On

This is truly going to be my chill slow jam that Imma be acting like I'm in an early 00s R&B music video when I listen to it. I already have the feeling that this is going to have the same effect on me as "Sun and Moon".

나의 모든순간 (No Longer)

This song is so beautiful sounding and it seems like Doyoung will finally be able to sing a song that his voice will get plenty of shine in which I'm very happy about.

Interlude: Regular to Irregular

 I already love it! It was a pleasant surprise to get this interlude with Johnny narrating over the serene audio from the first Yearbook video. It transitioned well from "No Longer" too.

 

Now, even more suprising was the turn that the interlude took! It was so odd but cool! They actually decided to use the reversed version of "The 7th Sense" and remix it a bit. That helped transition into the second half judging from the bit of the next song.

내 Van (My Van)

This seems like this will be a lit song epsecially since Taeyong is bringing us this nice but slightly different flow, the beat is fire, and the bass was just booming. I feel that NCTzens are going to enjoy this!

악몽 (Come Back)

 I swore up, down, left, right, southeast, and southwest that I heard them have this song before (and it's one of my favorites from their Japanese album) and barely anyone has talked about that and I am disappointed and surprised because that means they didn't listen to the Chain album. Shame... shame... 

To ya'll who didn't realize that this is a Korean version of the same song, you are not doing your civic duty as an NCTzen. Get it together. 😂😐😑

신기루 (Fly Away with Me)

 A nice bop already and it seems like vocal line will really be able to snap on this one. Especially hearing Taeil and Doyoung at the end... whew child... the eargasms... 

I also heard that this is plagiarised and for people that don't know already it was bought by SM (as usual; ya'll know SM don't play that !) and I actually heard but forgot about the song so I didn't catch it at first.

 NCT nor Jordan hismself even contributed to the song audio so I don't understand the commotion from either side.

Regular (EN Ver.)

I'm pumped for the English version! The lyrics are like ... 😲 

And to think they're even throwing some Spanish in there?! I'm floored already! I can't even imagine how lethal the MV will be. I'd injure my poor heart if I tried.  

Run Back 2 U

They kept the nostalgia (of using past songs) by having BASSBOT instrumentals in this song! Taeyong's rap is fire just from this little snippet. This is gonna be the party banger of the album!

As expected, I passed my limit on some songs but I overall did a pretty good job. 😁 Maybe I should bump up the number to 350. 🤣🤣🤣

This album is definitely going to be a contender for Best 127 Album. I bet it will have a new feel that we won't be prepared for.

I'm hoping that Winwin, Johnny, and Yuta will get their chances in this album because they deserve it and we deserve it. 💚
