PRETTY AND SOOTHING | NCT U - YESTODAY MV

The settings and styling for the MV were really nice! I have to point that out first because I feel that it's kinda (just a little) a mix between both "BOSS" and "Baby Don't Stop" but lighter looking and not as intense.

And about the sets, they were very unique and had an odd aesthetic to them. For some reason fish pop up more than anything in the MV. 😂😂😂 I like it though. 😉 Especially in the scene with Taeyong and the bags of fish hanging from the ceiling. Taeyong with the parrot (maybe?) was also pretty nice too! I don't know if I'm overthinking but it seems like they might be symbolism. I'll look it it up.👓🔍🌐

The "NCT style" that I missed in some of the other MVs are definitely here with the animation, vibrant colors, and cool editing and transitions. Just perfect! The transition from Lucas's rap to Doyoung was the best.

It was so pretty and soothing and it really matched the song's vibe well. I would have this MV as a video wallpaper. If I could draw nicely, I'd surely be drawing almost every scene in the MV. I'm so proud of Taeyong writing those lyrics. A beautiful mind...

    Nobody snap my neck because some people are easy to piss off these days. 😂😂😂 Anyway, Yestoday was one of those songs that didn't really click well with me (beat and style wise) in the album but the MV and lyrics made me like it some more! Isn't it weird how that happens sometimes?

I can't wait to see what "Black on Black" will be like but until then, let's keep supporting "Yestoday" until that time comes!
